The Seven Days of Creation

First God said, "Let there be light!"

And He made the light day and the darkness He called night.

Then He said, "Let there be something to divide the water in two!"

He called the water sky and sea and they were both blue.

Then He said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered so dry land will appear!"

And so God made prairies, mountains, valleys and frontiers.

Then God said, "Let the earth produce plants!"

There grew plants such as lilies, tomatoes, pine trees and kumquats.

Then God said, "Let there be lights in the sky to separate day from night!"

And He made the sun, moon, stars and unto the earth they gave light.

Then God said, "Let the earth be filled with animals!"

And He made animal groups like birds, fish, invertebrates and mammals.

Then God said, "Let us make human beings in our own image and likeness!"

And He gave us parts such as our heard, feet, scapula, radius and triceps.

And on the seventh day, God rested.

For everything had been made exactly as He requested!
